Our Mission

"To assist qualified young people who desire a Christian education with financial assistance so that they may attend Upper Columbia Academy."
 

Our Objectives

The UCA Foundation is committed to the proposition that every qualified young person that desires a Christian education should be afforded the opportunity to attend Upper Columbia Academy. A group of alumni and friends of UCA have created a foundation and continue to raise funds to assist these young people.

The board consists of interested alumni and friends who want to be involved in an independent foundation for the benefit of UCA students. The foundation does not act on behalf of Upper Columbia Academy or the Upper Columbia Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. It does not have the authority to legally bind or obligate those organizations.

The foundation is qualified under state and federal tax codes to accept tax exempt charitable contributions. Its endowed funds are managed by a professional independent investment firm.

The foundation board is governed by its Mission Statement and Bylaws. Board members sign conflict of interest and confidentiality statements.
